Secular Social Sciences and Humanities

  • Research in fields like sociology, anthropology, political science, law, and philosophy to better understand human behavior, social dynamics, and the human condition from a non-religious perspective. 

  • Interdisciplinary studies examining the intersection of religion, race, and urban culture in America. 

  • Developing new methods and techniques for measuring and analyzing religious beliefs and practices in a scientific manner. 

Secular Worldviews and Spirituality

  • Studying alternative forms of spirituality and meaning-making outside of traditional organized religion. 

  • Examining the role of secularism, humanism, and other non-religious worldviews in modern society. 

Interfaith and Cross-Cultural Understanding

  • Research on interfaith dialogue, cooperation, and the integration of diverse religious and non-religious perspectives.
