CPE QUALIFICATIONS
Pastoral training certification can increase job viability for ordained pastors or licensed ministers who wish to become more effective as counselors in their current job or serve as a church counselor. Training and education are available for those who wish to practice pastoral counseling in various formats. To become certified, prospective counselors must meet the requirements of IACPC, and receive graduate-level training in both theology and psychology.

The International Association of Pastoral Counselors (IACPC) is a Christian faith-based association that issues the Certified Pastoral Counselor certification. In order to be certified, counselors also need to show that they are active in their religious community on a local level and have served at least 10 years in a pastoral counseling setting. The certification process can increase job viability for pastoral counselors, as it demonstrates a level of expertise and commitment to the field.
In addition to the Certified Pastoral Counselor certification, there are other certifications available for pastors, such as Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and Pastoral Counseling Certification through ( IACPC ) . We help Pastors gain the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively serve as counselors in their current job or as church counselors to their own congregation.
